Humans Helping Humans spent some time with our children in Acapulco once again. Since the passing of their caretaker Father Angel, the children at Casa Hogar were sent to another facility. Unfortunately, the abandoned building they got sent to is not up to the standards for basic living needs, so we did our best to improve what we could.
During our visit, we took the boys shopping for new clothing and shoes. No shopping trip is complete without a bit of fun, so we also stopped at an arcade for the boys to play games, and to McDonald's for a meal, which is a rare treat for them. Back at their new building, we made sure they had some semblance of personal space, so we helped them decorate personal bins for their clothes and possessions.
It truly does not take much to improve the lives of those in need!
